Kent Loehrke

Kent Loehrke

Kent Loehrke is a co-founder and principal for MDMC. Loehrke serves as the director of securitization and portfolio analysis for the company.

Loehrke is the former vice president of Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp. In that position, he built a team of portfolio analysts and transaction managers to facilitate mortgage due diligence and asset sales to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Loehrke is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater, where he earned a bachelor's degree in computer systems management.

Doug Lackey

Douglas Lackey is a co-founder and principal for MDMC. Lackey oversees the due diligence division and financial controls of the company. 

Lackey has over 30 years of management and product development experience in the real estate and mortgage industries. While a vice president at Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp., he managed a non-insurance affiliated company that specialized in due diligence review services. Lackey also held positions at such companies as Colonial Savings and Loan Association, Control Data Corp. and HMS Mortgage Co., Inc. Lackey holds a bachelor of arts in business administration from Principia College.

Gregory Richardson

Gregory Richardson is the managing director of business development and strategic planning for MDMC. As managing director, Richardson is responsible for developing new clients, maintaining existing relationships and creating all marketing materials. Richardson also oversees all strategic planning efforts for MDMC.

Richardson has an extensive background in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining MDMC, he was a senior vice president for Wachovia Bank, N.A. During his 17-year tenure, Richardson actively managed a $35 billion residential loan portfolio for interest rate, credit and liquidity risk. He also worked at Wachovia Mortgage Company as a secondary marketing division head and at First Union Capital Markets as a whole loan trader. Richardson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Theresa Custer

Theresa Custer is the managing director of operations for MDMC. In her current position, Custer manages all of MDMC's due diligence operations in both the Sussex, WI and Las Vegas offices.

Custer joined MDMC with more than 20 years of management experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to serving as a managing director for MDMC, Custer was a senior consultant and operations manager at Mortgage Dynamics, Inc. She has also had management positions at such companies as Columbia First, Perpetual Bank, FSB and Dominion Shares Mortgage Corp. Custer is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), where she serves on the Document Custody committee, Education and Agency subcommittees. She is currently studying to take the Certified Mortgage Banker exam.

Marck Simson

Marck Simson is the compliance manager for MDMC. Simson oversees all aspects of the regulatory compliance department, including implementing changes, staff training, communicating issues with clients and sellers and assisting with system development. Simson leads a team of compliance professionals, averaging over 10 years experience, who regularly attend conferences and educational seminars organized by the MBA and AllRegs. He works closely with MDMC's chief regulatory counsel Steve Ornstein at Thacher, Proffitt, and Wood to remain current on the ever-changing legal environment.

In his six years with MDMC, Simson has held a variety of positions prior to being promoted to compliance manager in 2004, including compliance officer, quality control specialist, project manager and underwriter. Prior to MDMC Simson held a position in the mortgage industry leading legal document review teams. Simson is also the former owner of a business where he originated loans and prepared tax returns. Simson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where he earned bachelor's degrees in business management and economics.
